New textured natural white CD sleeves and 1mm thick grey note cards printed letterpress one colour, slate grey. We used grey board which takes a wonderful impression and contrasts nicely when inside the case. Rachel kindly posted these lovely images on her blog and sent me a lovely message! Thanks Rachel x

Double CD sleeves printed printed for Oksana in Switzerland, with a wash of what I call sea spray then over printed in warm grey. Note cards printed in a hint of sea spray, Why just a hint? Well it highlights the impression into soft cotton paper, a blind impression (no ink) would have looked a little lost! Thanks Oksana for trusting my judgement the colour x

Gatsby Inspired Wedding Invites

All busy behind the scenes here at the studio, weddings, packaging and branding projects are taking over! Here's one that hopefully samples will be available sometime soon, love the gold and silver on charcoal, think some tests with bronzing powder are in order to give that little more glitz.

First though there are real wedding invites to design, finalise and print. Fully booked for the next few months and then I'll will be ready for some time off!

Blackburn Museum

Meet Hilary Coddington Lewis and James Cunningham and hear stories about life in Blackburn when the museum was built. Work with local print maker Jacqui Sharples and discover how to make your own print to take home. Inspired by the museums beautiful print collection this drop in session will let the whole family try a new and exciting skill.

I've had the absolute pleasure of rummaging in the vaults of the museum and found some hidden gems, old wood type and a Victorian Model press that will be making a special appearance on the day. Could have spent all day clambering over type cases, there's a full print shop down there! The museum has some fantastic things on display and I highly recommend it, plenty for the kids to do too! I managed to find some old printing blocks too, not sure what they are but we'll print them on the day and find out ;)
